INTENDED ACTION: The Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy intends to amend Rule 30-X-6-.05(6)
SUBSTANCE OF PROPOSED ACTION: - Rule 30-X-6-.05(6) will be changed to allow fictitious firm names as long as they are not misleading and eliminate the two year maximum that a practitioner can use a firm name after becoming a sole practitioner or a sole stockholder due to death or withdrawal of all other partners or shareholders.

Interested persons may present their views in writing to the Executive Director of the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy at any time until and including Thursday, September 23, 1999 following the 30th day of June 1999, or, if requested in advance, by personally appearing at the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy, Suite 236, RSA Plaza, 770 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama 36130-0375 at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 24, 1999.
